Shortage of labour (assessment)
In the question of shortage of labour for the Business sector sector, the following questions are weighed together: labour shortages, assessment, (Manufacturing, Service and Trade sectors), and limiting factors: labour, assessment, (Building and civil engineering). In January 2022, the question of limiting factors for the construction sector was amended so that more than one option can be chosen when the question is answered. For the calculation of the Business sector sector, a connected time series for the construction sector is therefore used, consisting of the results of the new and the old question. NIER has made the assessment that the effect of a changed question formulation on the result in the Business sector sector is marginal as the construction sector is the smallest in the business sector.
