Footnotes

The regional results are not based on samples of firms stratified by region but on post-stratification of the Business Tendency Survey’s existing sample (which is stratified by industry and size class). The responses are not therefore extrapolated to the whole population as with the national results, and the situation in a region cannot be compared with that in Sweden as a whole by comparing the level of the confidence indicator/variable for the region with that for the whole country. For more information, see the User Guide to the Economic Tendency Survey.
The Economic Tendency Survey reports figures from the January survey as the 4th quarter of the previous year, April as the 1st quarter, July as the 2nd quarter and October as the 3rd quarter.
